About us
2020 was a leap year, our founder Glory Dole decided she wanted to climb Mt. Rainier. She didn't know anything about mountain climbing. Over the next four years, she trained, learned, and challenged herself. She climbed progressively bigger and more challenging mountains and even volunteered to teach Alpine Scramble classes in her local area. The following leap year, 2024 she climbed and summited Mt. Rainier. This journey proved that everything is possible, one step at a time. Through these years, not only did she train, and summit, she started a coaching and consulting business. She found that big dreams and big mountains are the same. You have to know what you want, and why you want it, and you have to have support. No one can climb the mountain for you, but you don't have to climb alone. This is how the Leap Year League was born. What wild dream do YOU have four years from now? What support do you need?
